As night closed in and the central Indian forest darkened, the sounds of mystery started intriguing me and attention was being drawn int sound patterns rather than light, but instantly, we glimpsed a slight movement in the shadows, and a tiger came out of the bush to pass our way just feet from our open vehicle.. When I recognized the potential, I lifted a small camera and started to pan along with his stride.  When the creature cast a glance back toward us at the instant I depressed the camera shutter control. The original image was very dark of course, but I took some time to milk any light particles from the captured experience, and this abstraction is the result.
